How you can pray

Formerly known as Upper Volta, Burkina Faso gained independence in 1960 and endured repeated military coups in the 1960s and 70s. Now a multiparty democracy, it has enjoyed stable government for many years, but continues to be affected by troubles I the neighbouring states of Cote D’Ivoire and Mali.

GBM has had a long involvement in Burkina Faso through French speaking Radio. Our programmes are aired on numerous French language local FM radio stations and visits have been made to help in teaching and training.
